Basara Kaiseki Multicourse Menu 6,696 JPY
ばさら懐石This is the most recommended course, which enables you to easily enjoy the real thrill of Basara, and also experience the development of Japanese dishes. It is made up of five dishes―a fumibako-hassun, a middle dish, a main dish, rice and a dessert. For the middle dish, you can choose from sashimi of the day (two kinds), soup of the day, grilled fish of the day or boiled food of the day. For the main dish, you can choose either top-choice beef sirloin, beef fillet, grilled fish of the day, French young chicken roasted whole, homemade roasted pork or assorted tempura. Among our overseas guests, the combination of sashimi of the day and assorted tempura is popular.
Basara’s Specialty: Fumibako-hassun (assorted side dishes eaten with sake) 2,484 JPY
名物 文箱八寸(酒の肴の盛り合わせ)This is an assortment of hors d’oeuvres that is the specialty of Basara’s parent restaurant, “Aoyagi.” Using a narrow and long vessel which looks like a box used to send letters, we pack together more than ten kinds of seasonal and colorful delicacies from the mountains and seas. Beautiful to look at, this is a collection of choice items, each of which inspires appreciation for the chefs’ professional skills.
Tomato Sukiyaki 6,264 JPY
トマトすき焼きThis is Basara’s signature dish. We would like to recommend this course to people who say they have come to appreciate Japanese cuisine. Enjoy this unique arrangement of traditional “sukiyaki,”a simple hot pot dish whose ingredients are Japanese beef, tomatoes, onions and nothing else. In addition to the taste of Japanese beef, we’d also like you to savor the tastiness of vegetables engorged with the sweet stock and flavor of the meat. Pasta as a close is also exceptionally good.

ランチ 曙 (四品)This is a lunch course menu with the condensed essence of Basara. For the main dish, you can choose from gingered beef, tomato sukiyaki, Edomae conger fried whole or grilled fish of the day. This combo consists of three dishes―assorted hors d’oeuvres, a mini side dish of the day and a main dish, plus rice and a dessert.

京橋懐石 桜Add teppanyaki (ingredients grilled on an iron plate) as a main dish, and this is a course which enables you to enjoy a well-balanced combination of delicacies from the mountains and seas. You can enjoy our special “Tomato Sukiyaki,” a clever variation on the traditional dish. A combo including kuruma-hassun (assorted hors d’oeuvres), Tomato Sukiyaki hot pot (with 150g of choice Japanese beef!), pasta made in the sukiyaki hot pot and a dessert.
