Who is “Inatahime”?
“Inatahime” is the goddess in Japanese myth who was saved by “Susanoo no Mikoto” from the Eight-headed Serpent “Yamata no Orochi.” Because the two got married and even their remotest descendants prospered, the Brewery named their sake “Inatahime,” praying that the Brewery might last forever. The shrine where Inatahime is enshrined is said to answer prayers for matchmaking, a happy marriage and the well-being of one’s family.
