炭火焼 鰹たたき 3貫 5貫Kochi is famous for “katsuo tataki” (seared bonito slices). Our “katsuo tataki” is a special delicacy and so popular that it has fans throughout Japan. “Tataki” is a way of preparing fish by lightly searing only the skin part of thick slices. Eat it by dipping the slices in our special ponzu sauce. The combination of its melting texture and aromatic scents has captivated many Japanese people. We are sure that you will become a fan, too. The fresh katsuo we use is free of a fishy smell.

天然刺身盛り合わせWe make a point of serving sashimi made with “wild” fish caught in the morning. Enjoy a luxurious assortment of various seasonal fish from across Japan.

Charcoal-seared Sabazushi (mackerel sushi) 1,100 JPY
焼き鯖寿司“Saba-nigiri” (Hand-shaped sushi with mackerel) is made by searing the rice as well as the saba. The sushi rice seasoned with yuzu citrus and ginger matches the saba exquisitely.

Kinmedai (Red snapper) Sushi 1,200 JPY

和牛の吟醸麹焼きThe use of "koji" (sake malt) makes the well-done beef tender and mild. Koji is usually used to ferment ingredients for Japanese dishes.
