Interior at Kakekomi Gyoza
In the Edo Period (1603-1867), fire was a more devastating disaster in Japan than today.
Groups of hikeshi, firefighters, were actively involved in battling the fires and admired like heroes.
The interior design was inspired by hikeshi. Each staff member is dressed in a Japanese happi coat and looking forward to serving you.
