One of the very few restaurants where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine in an establishment designated as an important cultural property
The establishment is a stately 3-story wooden building. Beside the entrance you see the registration plate showing that it was nationally designated as an important cultural property. Hantei is a restaurant specializing in kushiage, where you can enjoy meals in an atmosphere of the good old days. We only serve kushiage dishes, but we always stock more than thirty kinds of seasonal foodstuffs. Please, leave everything to us, and you'll find that the food is served in such an order as to enable you to enjoy the most delicious flavors. We rigorously select seasonal ingredients unique to Japan, so you can enjoy different kinds of tastiness every time. There are very few restaurants in Japan where you can savor exquisite food in a Japanese atmosphere influenced by a cultural asset. Hantei is a popular restaurant visited by people not only from across Japan, but also from abroad.
